Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. My family and I visited Mymen Ramen tonight. We were four adults with our 4-month-old baby. Before being seated, I politely asked whether our infant would count toward the party size because the restaurant automatically charges 18% gratuity for parties of five or more. Instead of simply explaining the policy respectfully, the manager responded by saying, β€œAn infant is a person, not a dog.” I found that comment unnecessary, rude, and unprofessional. This wasn’t about avoiding gratuityβ€”it was about understanding the policy. We felt disrespected and decided to leave before ordering. Customer service and respectful communication matter just as much as the food, and unfortunately this experience fell far below expectations.

Im actually a regular that got locked out of my old account but here's another updated review. Ive been coming here since they opened and I found it by chance after my old ramen go to spot changed owners and drastically changed the broth. Were always greeted here with great service and the tonkotsu ramen is so authentic and tastes amazing. Its always a bad gamble trying any other places. Ive also tried their side items like the pork bun and the squid. As for the ramen all the levels of spice are amazing. One day ill try level 4 and 5 but I have a weak stomach for spice. Im curious about the dried ramen but I love the tonkotsu so much that I havent given it a chance but hear its great. The owner (female) is always lovely and were happy to always swing by especially not living 4 hours away anymore :)

I am addicted! I don't care how far you are, you have to come. Everything is delcious and you can taste that it is made fresh in house! Must try: mazesoba, tonkatsu ramen, karaage and the bao buns...but everything is amazing!! Great and kind service and cute little spot! You're missing out if you haven't been!

1. The ramens were both well-crafted and delicious! I really like the broth of the shoyu ramen! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a few anime decor! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with our order! Note: They will charge gratuity for a party of 5+! Photo: Tonkatsu, Shrimp Wontons Shoyu, and Takoyaki

Came here for the first time and tried the mazesoba and really enjoyed it! The noodles were chewy, toppings were pretty good and the sauce was delicious! The poached soft egg on top was mixed into the noodles and I ordered spicy red sauce because I like my noodles spicy! We also ordered couple appetizers and enjoyed the fried squid. Tofu had a mild flavor but wasn’t anything too special. The bao buns were tasty and paired well with lychee and peach teas. I strongly recommend getting their flavored teas. The Shoyu ramen noodles had a good texture and my friend ate this with an extra side of fried burdock. I tried the broth and it was made well. The owners are super friendly and really care about their business. The price point at this restaurant is very fair, considering we are going through a huge inflation. This is an amazing small business in the heart of Garden Grove!
